Chris talks with his high school basketball coach, Kurt Keener, about his childhood growing up in Detroit, and his reluctancy to attend Detroit Country Day School. They also discuss how Chris' mom and coach Keener prepped Chris for life after basketball and a broadcasting career. Coach Keener is arguably the greatest high school basketball coach ever in the state of Michigan, winning 9 state championships. Coach is currently the head men's basketball coach at Gilbert Christian School in Arizona, where he recently won back-to-back state championships.
