I'm so grateful that Pat took the time to talk with me for a few hours about his photography practice. It was so wonderful to hear how he dealt with coming to the work of great photographers before him by letting it blow his mind but not blow away his curiosity and interest in making images. I was fascinated to find out that he curated one of the first exhibits ever of Vivian Maier's photography at Wilco's Solid Sound Festival.
