Hi,

This week we have the privilege of hearing from Roland Evans author of The Marshland Chronicles, a dystopian fantasy and coming of age novel. Roland was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2010 which gave him incentive to finish his book. We talk about how environment and life experience play key roles in his story and world-building, and how a weekend retreat could end up in an idea for a story. He touches on coming up with names, and gives us real gems on editing that you don't want to miss!

To get a copy of Roland's book, The Marshland Chronicles, go to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association website. The book is available from the IMNDA shop for 15 euro at www.imnda.ie . All proceeds go towards the IMNDA as to Roland's request.
