This week's Conversations Cafe episode reflects on a recent episode of DANA BEING DANA, a television show that airs on the Naperville, IL community TV channel NCTV17. It was dedicated to suicide prevention, and featured Hope for the Day, along with a number of other community members who shared clinical expertise, lived experience insights, and their work in advocacy.
We also dive into understanding the work that goes into supporting the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and what it takes to work the other end of the phone from the inspirational Roger Breisch. Roger is an outspoken suicide prevention advocate and a 17-year veteran volunteer of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Conversations Cafe is (usually) a monthly live podcast recording at Sip of Hope Coffee Bar featuring education and open forum dialogue on the intersections of Mental Health within our communities. This education programming is brought to you by Hope for the Day with support from our partners in prevention, The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention of Illinois, Banyan Treatment Center, and Janssen.
Join the conversation. We are in this together.
