Conversations From CAST22 highlights the expertise of Featured Speakers, STAT members, and more from the annual Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, or CAST, presented by the Science Teachers Association of Texas.

In this episode, meet Amanda Canada, an eighth-grade teacher at Crosby Middle School in Crosby ISD, and Remelia Arpino, a high school science teacher at Eisenhower High School in Aldine ISD. Amanda Canada is recipient of the STAT 2022 Outstanding Middle School Science Teacher of the Year Award, and Remelia Arpino is recipient of the STAT 2022 Outstanding High School Science Teacher of the Year Award.
