He serves as a distinguished service professor and AI faculty lead at the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business. In this role, he focuses on designing and teaching innovative AI courses, training faculty and staff to leverage AI, and contributing to university-wide initiatives on AI's transformative role in education.
Mark previously worked as chief data officer at CaringBridge, where he spearheaded the establishment of their first enterprise analytics function and supported a cultural shift toward a data-driven, customer-centered approach. He was named a Richard Green Scholar for his doctoral research, which described how district offices can support and empower principals.
