Jonathan Farley's 84-year-old mother was kidnapped illegally by his brother, who directed police who brutally dragged her out of her own house. She was then placed in an Edgar Allan Poe-like nightmare of being a mentally competent woman locked up in a facility for mentally incompetent people.  Jonathan Farley fought a legal battle for one year to partially free his mother from his brother's grasp.
