Jane Wyker: Soul Selfish
People get so caught up in day to day activities and in caring for others that they forget to live and practice self care. Then, as they age and get close to the end of their life, they often have regrets about the things they wish they had done. It has been reported that at the top of that list is not being true to themselves, not expressing their feelings, or sufficiently going for their own happiness. Women, especially, have a habit of putting the happiness of others before their own. Jane Wyker, a family counselor, talks about why it is so important to take ownership of our life. She is the author of Soul Selfish: The Awakening of a Good Girl.
