Today I welcome Reneau Peurifoy onto the show. He holds a master’s degree in counseling and is the author of multiple books including his most recent “Why You Feel the Way You Do.” Reneau was in private practice for twenty years as a marriage and family therapist specializing in anxiety disorders. Reneau left private practice to teach and spend his time writing, speaking, and talking to various groups.
We dive into the why behind emotions together. People vary with their levels of self awareness in regards to their own emotional state.
Everybody has behavioral things they do when they are stressed out or things are going on in their lives. It’s important to learn what your particular indicators are. It’s not always easy to realize and then deal with what is weighing on you.
