Her autobiographical one woman show The Silicone Diaries chronicled her relationship to the man-made substance silicone exploring the social, psychological and spiritual implications of its injection into her life and body. Many of her artworks have also explored the agonies and ecstasies of her surgical transformations. In 2012, Intellect Books published TRANS(per)FORMING Nina Arsenault: An Unreasonable Body of Work.
