Both Pat and Jas were members of the Australian Defence Force and both suffered physical injuries that saw their ADF careers cut short.

What is traditionally a very dangerous period of time, transitioning out of the military, (same with first responders), Pat and Jas transformed themselves into elite dog trainers.
