CEO Mike Spagnola says consumers spent 53 billion dollars last year on after market products. There are some that can even help you convert your car into an electric vehicle. And the association is actually helping to bring products to market more quickly…
“One of the areas that we’re really excited about is called our SEMA Garage Technology Centers, where we help members develop products and take them to market. So, for example, if you wanted to build a product that effects an engine, it has to go through emissions testing. And so we do that work in two of our facilities, Diamond Bar, California and one in Detroit, Michigan.”
