God is constantly calling us into a new life -- to leave behind the old, destructive ways we have lived and embrace all that he has in store for us. Jesus came to pave the way for us to walk into this new life, and the Holy Spirit guides us to this new life. He guides us through conviction, where he points out the areas we are still holding onto the old and pushes us to leave it behind to embrace the new.
