It is sometimes useful to transform measured data into a form that is more amenable for analysis and in electroanalytical chemistry a convolution procedure has been demonstrated to an effective data treatment. The direct analysis of voltammetric experiments is problematic due to the shape of the measured response but by convolving the measured data with a time dependent function that includes geometric and diffusional parameters produces an output that is more readily interpreted. Some applications with examples are demonstrated. Recorded on 14 August 2015.
