Cool Colombian Slang Words You’ve Gotta Know.

PAISA " The name is attributed to a particular region of Colombia (the Paisa region) where their accents are unique to the rest of the country. Some Colombians only use paisa to describe people from this region.

1.Parcero / Parcera

Meaning: Bro, dude, close friend.

2.¿Quiubo, Parce?

Meaning: What’s up, bro?

3. Mi Llave / Llavería / Llavero

Literal meaning: My key/key chain

Slang meaning: My (close) friend

4.El Parche

Literal meaning: The patch.

Slang meaning: The crew, the homies

El parche is your group of friends.

5.Parchando

Slang meaning: Chillin’, hanging out

6.Desparchado

means: the opposite: bored, not doing anything.

7.Rumbiar

Meaning: To go out, to party
