Dodgers Daily 4-8-23 Cool Hand Luke

L.A. took a 3-2 lead into the 6th, but gave up 2 runs, then didn't score again and lost to the D-Backs 5-3. The "Boom or Bust" offense was back for the Dodgers as 2 of their 3 runs were scored via the long ball, but they didn't score after the 4th inning.

James Outman and Chris Taylor each hit their 2nd home runs of the year, and Brusdar Graterol looked good in relief.

Down on the Farm AAA OKC pounded the Las Vegas Aviators thank in part to a big night from SS Luke Williams who is off to a very hot start. Steven Duggar hit his 1st home run and Ryan Ward went back-to-back with him.

AA Tulsa got a good start from top prospect Nick Frasso, but could only must one hit and suffered their first loss of the early season.

Great Lakes didn't fair much better as they could only muster 5 hits and scored 3 runs, but got beat 4-3. Ronan Kopp and Robbie Peto pitched well in the dual starter roles and the bullpen was good too.

Rancho moved to 2-0 on the year behind another dual starter role with Peter Heubeck and Joel Ibarra. The Quakes pounded out just 5 hits, but they were timely as they led to 5 runs in the 5-3 win over Inland Emprie.
