In this episode of The Web of Queer we review the newest episode, Mummy On The Orient Express, and take a look at the Hartnel classic, The Aztecs.
 
In Mummy, we ogle the setting a bit, then get down to business. Do the ends justify the means? Do we think the Doctor is reasonable in how he interacts with those about to die? What about our main characters' addictions and what do we think of how the Mummy is selecting victims?
 
What things in The Aztecs caught our attention? As Barbara takes center stage, what did we think of her, and the other women’s portrayals in the 1964 story, and did we see any threads to modern day Who?

In this episode we review the Fourth Doctor story The Face of Evil. In our review, we discuss Leela’s introduction story. What did we think of how her character is initially introduced? Where did we have problems with the choices made for this story?  And now we’re sad to say that the podcast is going on indefinite hiatus. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished with The Web of Queer, but unfortunately due various reasons we’ve had to acknowledge that it’s time for the podcast to end for now.
