SteampunkLink and Emmy Zero were faced with a licensed game attached to a fairly loathed license, a platform game who's previous console iterations are infamously bad, and another Koei game. They prepared for the worst. But in the end were pleasantly surprised with what they got.
Aerobiz is perhaps the hardest sell among all the Koei games talked about up to this point, but does the best job at explaining itself for new players. Dragon's Lair is a huge improvement upon the NES version. Cool World was actually kinda cool. Were any of these games amazing? Of course not. But were far from the disasters expected.
So give it a listen and find out what the two thought worked and didn't work about these three games as they kick off February 1993's SNES library.
