Cooler Weather Moves Into Cleveland After Weekend Storms

Listen Later

After a weekend that brought rain and unsettled conditions across Northeast Ohio, the weather pattern in Cleveland is beginning to calm down. Forecasters say cooler temperatures and drier air are expected to move into the region as the new week begins.

While the storms did not cause widespread damage in most areas, the shifting weather system produced periods of rain, gusty winds, and cloudy skies throughout the region. Now residents across Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and surrounding communities are seeing a transition toward more stable conditions.

Meteorologists say the next several days will feature typical early-spring weather patterns with changing temperatures and occasional cloud cover.
