I've always enjoyed creating things with other people. Whether it's writing music with a band of musicians, or creating and pouring cocktails with fellow bartenders, I've always found fulfillment in expressing myself creatively with others. So when an old friend and Nashville Software School alum told me about all of the exciting possibilities of being a software developer in the thriving tech community of Nashville, I knew it was an opportunity to pursue. Now I bar tend part-time while striving to become a professional developer.
