Cooper Stuff Podcast

I often hear phrases such as "God is bigger than the Bible." Today I'm going to explain why I think we should not say this. There is a sense in which it is true, but typically it is used to subtly lower the authority of the Bible. I hope to convince you today!

Today we talk about something we've never dabbled into: Bethel controversy. Podcaster Mike Winger released a 6 hour expose on Bethel's knowledge about one of their most platformed "prophets," Shawn Bolz, who allegedly data-mined personal information about people and used it to fraudulently prophesy to them. These and other accusations has caused a firestorm in the evangelical world, especially in its charismatic corners. Today, we briefly respond to the controversy. A church that is truly prophetic would stand up for righteousness and for victims of church abuse.

There are some good signs in America that indicate the beginning of revival. People are going to church in huge numbers, Bible sales are increasing physically and in digital sales, many people claim to have just come to the faith since the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Why is this happening? Today we delve into the battle happening within American evangelicalism. In doing so, we describe what some refer to as Thirdwayism; and finally, why I believe revival is happening.

One week after Charlie Kirk's assassination, the country is still roiling and processing. When it comes to the notion of a unified country, one thing that must be discussed is various views on liberty and speech. Today we outline three different concepts on speech: enlightenment, liberalism, progressivism, and a Christian philosophy of speech.
