Setting Up Facebook Messenger Bots
Over 1.3 billion people use Facebook Messenger on a regular basis. More and more brands are turning to messenger marketing over email marketing to connect with their crowds.
Messenger Marketing is projected to become the most popular form of marketing in the next five years. The click-through rates and open rates for Facebook Messenger are as much as four times as high as they are for email marketing.
So, how do you get started?
There are a number of messenger applications you can set up that take less than an hour. I recommend starting with Chatfuel by going to Chatfuel.com, and no, I’m not an affiliate of any kind with them.
It takes less than 30 minutes to set up a simple Facebook Messenger Bot to start connecting with people who like your page on Facebook and want to connect with your message.
Start by setting up a simple Welcome message series and see how it goes from there. You can always build more messenger series and make it more robust, but start simple and build out a logical, friendly experience.
Have fun, give it a try, and if you get stuck, just reach out to me and my team at Keynote Content. We’re happy to walk you through the process together.
