In the book Coral the Reef Fairy by Daisy Meadows, friends Kirsty Tate and Rachel Walker visit a beach event dedicated to ocean conservation. While there, they reunite with Coral, a magical being tasked with protecting underwater ecosystems from the environmental damage caused by climate change. The plot follows the trio as they use fairy magic to shrink down and travel beneath the waves to a tropical reef. Their primary mission is to reclaim a stolen magic wand from the villainous Jack Frost and his group of goblins. Along their journey, they encounter whimsical sea life, including a juggling clown fish, while learning about the fragility of living coral.
