Following sold out concerts over the last four years, our annual Christmas Concert will be hosted online this December 19th-21st, ensuring one of Cork’s most recent festive traditions can continue in the comfort of your home.Always a highlight of our Winter Programme at Cork Opera House, the Christmas Concert will take a different format as the best in local Cork and national talent come together to sing a range of festive classics, streamed online with the usual mix of musical and artistic talent.Accompanied by the Cork Opera House Concert Orchestra and conducted by John O'Brien, a variety of artists will take to the stage to perform a range of seasonal classics. Those performing across the three evenings will include renowned Irish tenor Gavan Ring and one of the country’s most celebrated sopranos, Majella Cullagh. They will be joined by the mother and daughter duo of Karen and Christiana Underwood along with rising star Emma Sophia of The Emma Sophia Show.
