The opening event of this year’s Pitch’d Circus & Street Arts Festival is Pure Daycent Chats with Paddy O’Brien and Noelle Ní Ríagáin, two Master Storytellers and Listeners, who are inviting the public to join them at the Douglas Street Parklet by the Cork Flower Studio for a cuppa and a chat from September 2nd to 5th and 9th to 12th.How do you feel about where you live, what you love or hate about it, and how do you see it in 100 years? Tell them what the funniest thing that’s happened to you on the streets of Cork, or what’s your favourite Cork expression? Pure Daycent Chats want to know! Other events include on Culture Night Friday 17th - RedFM media partners to Culture Night – where you’ll find a Circus street disco on the Coal Quay. Elsewhere and on other dates you’ll find Pop- up shows, Tumble Circus performing a brand new show, a workshop with Tom Campbell that shows you how to cover yourself completely in recycled rubbish, a community cabaret show, a circus street arts trail, and all to be finished off in Red Abbey square on Sunday 26th of September with an event called Pure decent rhymes which features GMC creating story's from the public in Rap form.
