Maturity in following Jesus is not measured by what we do for God, but what we receive from Him. When we receive God first, we are then led to live a life of thankful generosity.

The early Christians were dedicated to growing, developing and caring for the church.

The church is a movement. If you are a Christian, you are the church and you should be moving. When you surrendered your life to Jesus you received power, you received the Holy Spirit and therefore you are called to be His “witness.”

God does the impossible. If everything in our lives is explainable than we’re probably not walking by faith.

No one would have thought about marching around a city for seven days, shouting and blowing trumpets. Joshua was faithful. He trusted God. And God brought victory.

Faith is more than believing. Faith is more than thinking, talking, or having convictions about Jesus. Faith is action. It is movement; it is activity. Faith is something you do, it is lived out day to day in your life.

The Christian life is about moving forward, trusting in Jesus, having faith in His plan and purposes for this world and for our lives.
