Our good samaritans in Garo Hills were quick to lend a helping hand to underprivileged families in West, East & South Garo Hills during these tough and unprecedented times. Braving rough terrain and long hours of travel, members of Tura Adventure Club and A’chik Chadambe SHG reached out to villages and provided ration and essential commodities through funds raised by the organisations. Seeing their effort, the DC of East Garo Hills also helped their initiative by raising funds for them through the 'District Relief Fund' and also started an online campaign on social media platforms.
