The CEOs of nine drug makers signed a pledge promising they won’t file for regulatory approval or authorization of experimental Covid-19 vaccines until proven safe through late-stage clinical testing. Once there is a vaccine, they also pledge to ensure supply across the world.


Honolulu’s Mayor is extending their stay-at-home order for 2 weeks. But he will allow solo activity at beaches, parks, ad trails like running or eating alone in these public places. The number of new cases had not declined as much as he wanted.


A new NBC - SurveyMonkey poll shows coronavirus fatigue is setting in, with rising numbers thinking businesses aren’t opening soon enough. However most American adults still worry businesses are opening too soon. The poll also shows 40% of adults say they would get a government-approved vaccine.


New Mexico officials are reassuring teachers students can’t sue them if they get the virus in class. Teachers are protected by insurance that covers court costs.


UK Labor Party leader Keir Starmer is warning their test-and-trace system is “on the verge of collapse.” Ministers conceded a lack of lab capacity has prevented many from getting a test. Some citizens are asking to travel to Scotland for testing.


Many parents are challenging authorities in Spain on the order to return to school. They see safety measures as ill-funded as a new wave of infections sweeps the country. Some are even willing to face charges for truancy, punishable by 3-6 months in prison.

Wayne, TN. Lincoln, AR. Pawnee, KS. Radford, VA. Rosebud, MT. And Duval, TX. Countries with the most cases in the last 7 days per capita: Aruba, Bahrain, Turks and Caicos Islands, Israel, Maldives, Argentina, Costa Rica, Spain, Peru, and Montenegro is new to the top 10.


There’ve been 6,326,696 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States and 189,639 deaths. The 10 states with highest cumulative case counts: California with 744,425. Texas with 662,427. Florida 650,092. New York 440,578. Georgia 285,350. Illinois 254,276. Arizona 206,045. New Jersey 194,667. North Carolina 178,635. And Tennessee with 165,754 confirmed cases.


The 5 Countries with the most new cases: India 89,852. United States 28,561. Brazil 17,330. Argentina 12,027. And Spain 8,964.


The top 10 countries with highest overall cumulative case counts: The United States, India, Brazil, Russia, Peru, Colombia, Mexico overtakes South Africa, Spain, and Argentina. 


The states with the most new deaths reported as COVID-related: Texas 89. California 72. Florida 48. Tennessee 27. Georgia 26. Ohio 22. Louisiana 13. Indiana and Iowa with 12. And New York 11.
