If accomplishing difficult things for God were easy, we would not need faith. We would just accomplish them. God calls us to be involved in difficult things for Him to exercise our trust in and dependence upon, Him. While the road map for each difficult thing is different, there always one necessary component that is required: our faith.
Not only was Nehemiah a man of character, he was also a man of faith. In the second chapter of the book of Nehemiah we see this faith tested in several ways, and in each way, Nehemiah trust in and dependence upon God is revealed.
