Ahoy, surfers! It's time to catch the wave with your Texas Surf Zone Forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi. So, what's in store for our beachgoers today?

Today along the Kleberg Islands and Nueces Islands, we've got a moderate risk of rip currents to keep an eye on. The surf height is cruising around 4 feet, with Southeast winds blowing at 15 to 20 miles per hour, and an extreme UV index - so don't forget that sunscreen! The weather will be partly sunny with high temperatures reaching the upper 80s. Sunset? It's at 8:17 PM today - so plenty of time to surf those waves!

Moving on to tonight, we'll still have a moderate rip current risk, surf height between 3 to 5 feet, and Southeast winds sticking around 20 miles per hour. Expect a mix of clouds, with temperatures dropping to the lower 80s.

And what about Sunday, you ask? Well, the rip current risk remains moderate, surf height boosts up to 4 to 5 feet, and it's going to be a mostly sunny day with highs in the upper 80s. Winds are coming in from the South at around 20 miles per hour.

As we glide into the extended forecast, Sunday night brings us surf heights of 3 to 5 feet and partly cloudy skies. Memorial Day will see surf heights of 2 to 4 feet with mostly sunny skies, while Monday night will cool down slightly with surf heights around 3 feet and mostly cloudy conditions.

So, surfers, keep an eye out for those rip currents, ride those waves, and enjoy the sunny days ahead at the Texas surf zones. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
