This was meant to be an April Fool's Day joke in episode 46 that probably confused listeners more than anything. The original concept was The Skeletor Show would interrupt our episode in the beginning and that would be it - no actual movie discussion. However, we really really really wanted to talk about Godzilla Vs. Kong. We always play the same little ditty between segments for Drive Time Specials and I just had The Skeletor Show interrupt that because we thought it was too fun to can. Everything between Brennan and I was improvised in this bit and he really knocked it out of the park.
My wife Stacy really loves this and has me play it for her frequently. So much so, she insisted on this being its own thing so it's easier to find. It is also buried in the middle of an old episode that may get overlooked by new listeners. We hope that it thrives in this new form and we may possibly do more stuff like this if there's a demand. We hope you enjoy this oddity of us breaking format with The Skeletor Show!
