We discuss the Feast of Tents and begin a study of the annointing of Jesus in Bethany look at all 4 Gospels to uncover some amazing details that are not obvious when reading the accounts seperately.

In this episode, we look at the 3 popular American Holidays, determining the primary elements of each and what - if any - ties they have to the Gosple. This is a priming discussiong for Part 2, where we will look at the origins of all these elements and discuss what impact it has on our Walk.

During one of the lessons on the Sabbath, I made mention that Jesus as not born on Dec 25th, but more likely on Nissan 1, which corresponds to the end of March/first of April. As a result, the class wanted to know why I said this. In that vain, we are going to embark on a study of the origins of the common US holidays and then a contrast study on the "Holy Days" called out in the Feasts of the Lord.

In this first episode, I go through the "Christmas Story" found in scripture and look at what it says - and doesn't say, distinguishing between cultural traditions and biblical record. Additionaly, I cover things not normally recognized in the scriptures and their significance to the Gosple woven throughout it all.
