A time for sorrow and not celebration. A compromise must be sought. One thing I wouldn't compromise on is that tomorrow, former tennis great Margaret Court is expected to be given an Australia Day Honours award. She was a great Australian sportsperson and hero to this country in her time. But now she is a horrid embarrassment to Australian society. Google is still threatening to pull out of the Australian Search Engine market. A Twitter spat for me and a tinfoil hat wearing anti-vaxxer this past week. New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian has been known as "unlucky in love", "koala killer" and now government document shredder. But she need not fear, there's not going to be any consequences.
