Interview with Patricia McLaine:
My career as an international psychic, tarot reader, astrologer, metaphysical teacher and writer has brought me much insight and joy throughout the years. My clients are interesting, bright, colorful individuals. Among the many are celebrated actors, authors, designers, journalists, politicians, and members of royalty whose names fill the headlines, as well as those from every walk of life the world over. I have learned a lot from my clients, perhaps as much as they have gleaned from me. It is claimed I possess an uncanny gift for predicting the future and a disarming ability to look into the heart and soul of an individual. Considering the thousands who have crossed my path, my life continues to be truly blessed.
I have been featured in articles in The New York Times Magazine, Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, People Magazine, Women’s World, McCall’s, The Star, National Enquirer, Empire Magazine (UK) and You Magazine of the London Daily Mail to name a few. Books in which I am featured include Jess Stearn's The Miracle Workers and Soulmates; Susan Strasberg’s autobiography, Bittersweet, and Sheila Weidenfeld’s First Lady’s Lady about her time as Betty Ford’s press secretary. In Time-Life's Mysteries of the Unknown in the volume Psychic Powers I am referred to as one of the “psychic elite.”
I have made public appearances on Mid-Day, NY, People Are Talking, Baltimore, Boston, Pittsburgh Today, The Panorama Show and the Carol Randolph Show in DC, and Sally Jessy Raphael, to name a few. When Llewellyn published The Wheel of Destiny: The Tarot Reveals Your Master Plan, in 1991, I signed books at the Book Expo in NY and appeared on TV and radio in the US; radio in the UK. In 1995, on the I appeared on the Discovery Channel in Strictly Supernatural in the show on Tarot. More recently: Learning Channel, CBS Early Show, and Discovery Science Channel.
During the past year I have published three new books: my memoir, Cosmic Conspiracy – Psychic to the Rich and Famous, and a novel, Bittersweet Summer – Paula’s Story, through Create Space as print-on-demand books, and also on Amazon’s Kindle, and more recently, my novel, Summer of Love – Dana’s Story, only on Amazon’s Kindle. In 2010, I re-released my book, The Wheel of Destiny – The Tarot Reveals Your Master Plan, through Create Space as a print-on-demand book for sale on Amazon and Barnes and Noble online.
In 1999, I self-published my novel about life and love after death, The Recycling of Rosalie, and in 2011 the books was published on Amazon’s Kindle. Over the years, this story has been optioned three times for film. Currently, the screenplay version is with three major motion pictures studios for consideration to be made into a film.
