Greetings, fellow classmates! In this episode, Chris (@AceComics) and Reggie (@reggiereggie) travel to a fantastic oblong planet created by Mark Crilley in Akiko on the Planet Smoo, published by Sirius Comics in 1995! After some information about Mark, they go through the very first one-shot issue in detail. Then they clue into the long-running and much-beloved Akiko series as a whole and give a brief history of Manga, concentrating on its infiltration of the U.S. market. Our travelers list a few other young comic book adventurers, and close out the episode with some listener correspondence! It's such a good episode, you'll think it was done by Chris and Reggie's replacement robots.
