Informal Systems is a Cosmos contributor that works on the Cosmos Hub, which is the first blockchain in the Interchain. The Cosmos Hub is one of thousands of blockchains that will eventually make up the Cosmos Network. The Hub's primary token is ATOM, but it will support many other tokens in the future. Interchain Security is one of the main services the Cosmos Hub provides. It enables other blockchains to be secured through Proof-of-Stake (PoS) by the ATOM token, which holds one of the largest market capitalizations in the interchain ecosystem.
