The boys are back, the boys are back for a 9th season and officially the boys now can be taken to mean Dustin, Sam and officially minted co-host Bobby.  On this season debut all of these fine topics were discussed on this Wednesday evening:  The addition of the University of Colorado to the Big 12 Conference Where does conference realignment go next, who are the most likely schools to join the Big 12, and what this means for college sports at large (spoiler: not great stuff!) And of course the main topic: bold prediction(s) by sport for the 2023-24 UH athletics season and of course for all Cougar programs.

After a brief mid April hiatus, the Pawd is back to talk about a mixture of offseason and in season Houston Cougar sports talk, including the following topics:  Cougar men's basketball adds Milos Uzan (formerly of Oklahoma) to the 2024-25 roster and we kick around who the newest Cougar is and what a successful 1st season for Uzan could look like Numerous football players enter the portal after spring practice, so we take a look at who is leaving and what it means for 1st year head coach Willie Frirz Solid showings at the 1st Big 12 championships for women's and men's golf, though showings tantalizingly close to something even more Baseball and Softball both continue to struggle in conference play Tennis season ends a very difficult, winless 1st year in the Big 12. We try and think creatively about how this program can improve its lot in (sports) life

The full group of co-hosts are back to talk about the 2 of the most positive things in Cougar athletics right now:  Men's basketball gets the official returns of LJ Cryer and J'Wan Roberts, plus taking a deep dive on the 2023-24 season and what the roster could look like going forward Vibe checking the '24 spring football practice period under Willie Fritz and Saturday's on campus spring game

The OG co-hosts, Dustin and Sam, are back to discuss the end of a big and incredibly memorable season among the following Cougar topics:  It ended in a way none of the Cougar faithful thought was just desserts, but we look back at the Sweet 16 loss and the downright cruel way Jamal Shead's season was ended early in this one. PLUS, the first portal entrant from the 2023-24 team. The women's hoopers have several players enter the portal and early thoughts on what the 2024-25 team could look like. Checking back in on baseball and softball Track & Field's downright excellent and for 1 athlete, a record setting weekend at the Texas Relays
