Linguistic relativity which is also known as the Sapir–Whorf hypothesis is a principle that claims that the structure of a language affects its speakers' world view or cognition, and thus people's perceptions are relative to their spoken language. Arrival proposed and to some degree explored this concept. However, I think tv series could do even greater wonders when it comes to looking at the world from a different person's language.
