Well if you thought the fallout from last Wednesday's Optus outage couldn't get more bizarre, there are reports this morning that it's parent company in Singapore might be responsible.

Optus is yet to confirm the link, but the link to Singtel as a chief cause for the nationwide shutdown raised further questions about the telco's backups for an essential services.
