The government has revealed they will be spending close to RM80 billion on subsidies with the bulk of it being spent on fuel. We speak with Professor Dr Hafezali Iqbal Hussain from Taylor's University to wrap our head around this amount and also how subsidies shape our mindset on public spending, as well as our own.
