CRTC hearings taking place over the next nine days could open up the doors for smaller mobile providers in the country. The lesser known companies also being referred to as the “mobile disrupters” could take a chunk of the market away from the big three, Bell, Rogers and Telus. Commissioners will debate affordability and whether the regulator should mandate the three big providers to open up access to their network to smaller carriers.
