NYC Councilman Rory Lancman visited The Wave to discuss his candidacy for Queens DA.

Though Lancman has never prosecuted a case, he chairs the Council's Justice System committee, and oversees the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, the district attorneys in all five boroughs, the city’s special narcotics prosecutor, the public defender organizations, as well the civil legal services providers funded by the City, and the courts.
