Count Your Blessings – Jesse Pillay
The world constantly pulls our attention toward what we lack, causing us to compare and lose sight of what God has already done. When we focus on problems instead of blessings, gratitude fades and with it, our spiritual alignment.
Gratitude is not optional for a believer; it is an act of obedience. When we fail to thank God and walk in our purpose, we open doors to negativity and spiritual attack. A complaining heart often reveals forgotten blessings.
The truth is, our greatest blessings are not material but spiritual God has forgiven us, preserved our lives, and redeemed us. These are gifts far greater than anything temporary.
Psalm 103 reminds us to speak to our own souls and intentionally declare the goodness of God. Gratitude is a discipline, not just a feeling, and it must be practiced daily.
We can cultivate a lifestyle of gratitude by: Starting each day with thanksgiving Remembering past deliverance Speaking gratitude out loud
Even when circumstances don't change, gratitude shifts our perspective. When we choose to count our blessings, we realign our hearts with God and walk in a deeper awareness of His goodness.
