Mark 14:27-56

Countdowns are exciting. Whether it is the days leading up to a birthday or the seconds before the ball drops on New Years Eve, there is a certain sense of anticipation with these moments culminating in something worth celebrating. As Christians, we feel the same excitement when it comes to the resurrection of our Savior. In this series, entitled “Countdown to Calvary,” we will be looking at Christ’s final week on Earth as recorded by Mark.

Next Steps:

• Consider what kind of Messiah you are seeking.

• Reflecting on current or recent life circumstances, consider how God is calling you to let go of human concerns and replace them with God’s concerns.

• Begin praying for someone you plan to invite to join us for Easter.
