Mark 14:53-72 / Mark 15:1-20

Countdowns are exciting. Whether it is the days leading up to a birthday or the seconds before the ball drops on New Years Eve, there is a certain sense of anticipation with these moments culminating in something worth celebrating. As Christians, we feel the same excitement when it comes to the resurrection of our Savior. In this series, entitled “Countdown to Calvary,” we will be looking at Christ’s final week on Earth as recorded by Mark.

Next Steps:

• Identify some areas in your life where you need to remain silent instead of speaking out.

• Meditate this week on Proverbs 10:19: “Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.”

• Pray for someone you plan to invite to join us for Easter.
