In this lesson we discuss Acts 5:12-42. In this passage, the apostles are arrested again yet this time they are miraculously released to continue their preaching. Once more the council holds a hearing and a surprising advocate prevents a death sentence. The apostles’ response to their arrest and subsequent beating provides a model for facing persecution and opposition.
