Counterfeit products have come a long way – especially in the beauty industry. Just recently, Priceline was in trouble after finding fake skincare products across its Sydney stores.
While it seems like a harmless crime, when criminals can infiltrate chemist and pharmacy supply chains, it’s a huge problem. It might be cosmetics today – which themselves might involve animal testing and harmful products – but could also be a lead-in to fake medicines infiltrating our pharmaceutical supply chain.
