Country Today is at the Bush Summit in Ballarat.

The Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has addressed all the Bush Summits around the country and emotions were running hot today when he took pre-recorded questions on renewable energy. 

At Bush Summit in Ballarat, Premier Jacinta Allan was heckled by an unsettled audience, particularly when she was asked the question as premier, what would she have done differently?

Well as it happens the VicGrid Bill passed through the Legislative Council in Victoria yesterday. It means VicGrid officers now have the authority to forcefully enter private property without consent of the land owner.

Country Today has been speaking with candidates for Australian Wool Innovation's next board election, in November. And with Australia's wool production forecast to drop 11.8% in a year, the industry is desperate to turn things around. Anthony Uren works for one of the largest wool producing family companies, McBride of South Australia.
