The controversial court case of the national dairy body Australian Dairy Farmers suing the United Dairy Farmers of Victoria for unpaid membership fees has been settled.

The Federal Government has spent more than $120 million in one go, buying more than 30k megalitres of water from the Duxton Farms Limited, a private agricultural investment company .And other irrigators are not happy

We’ll  head over the border to South Australia, where some areas have recorded the driest year on record

It’s little wonder there is an egg shortage. Nearly 2 million birds have been euthanised in Victoria over the past two years due to outbreaks of Avian Influenza. 

There were fears the black summer bushfires had wiped out much of the long footed potoroo population in North-East Victoria. But  5 years on the endangered and rarely seen marsupial is recovering.
