Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan were heckled by angry farmers at last Friday's Bush Summit in Ballarat. Emotions were running hot whenever renewable energy was mentioned.

The bushfire outlook for spring is for an increased risk, particularly in the west of the Victoria. 

Industry needs financial incentives to phase out diesel fuel, including mining and agriculture. But that also means dumping of the diesel fuel rate.

The East Grampians Rural Pipeline is still in limbo with the Federal Government yet to announce its share of funding the project.

Both State and Federal Governments have made some significant funding announcements. First the Albanese Government has announced a billion dollar funding boost to the Regional Investment Corporation. And the NSW Government has  announced a 155 million dollar blitz on damaged roads.
